Axial SCX10 III Jeep Cherokee XJ Arrives as a 1/10 RTR Trail Truck
Axial has added the Jeep Cherokee XJ to its SCX10 III lineup as a ready-to-run 1/10 scale 4x4 (part AXI-2037). Horizon Hobby now lists it among its new releases as in stock and ready to ship, in green or white, at $499.99. It is a brushed, 3S-compatible trail truck aimed at scale realism, with licensed tires, wheels, and body.
What's new
The headline is the officially licensed Jeep Cherokee XJ body on the SCX10 III chassis. Axial pairs it with licensed BFGoodrich Krawler tires on KMC KM444 Mesa wheels and a DirtBound front bumper. The truck also comes equipped with DIG, operated by its own dedicated micro servo.
For a limited time, Horizon says select boxes may include a limited-edition SCX10 metal badge while supplies last.
Electronics in the box
The RTR ships with a Spektrum SLT3 3-channel transmitter and SR515 receiver, a Spektrum Firma 40A brushed waterproof ESC, and an Axial Slick Rock 35-turn brushed 540-size motor. Steering is handled by an S683 servo with a steel output gear, and a separate SX108PM micro servo actuates the DIG. Four AA batteries for the transmitter are included.
What you'll need
A battery and charger are not included. Horizon lists the truck as 3S compatible and pairs it with a Spektrum 11.1V 3400mAh 3S Smart G2 LiPo and an S155 Smart charger as the items needed to complete. Any compatible battery and charger will work, but check connector type and fit before buying.
