RC Scale Size Converter
Convert a real vehicle's length to its modeled size at any common RC scale, or work backward from a model's spec sheet to see roughly how big the real thing would be.
Handy for figuring out how big a model of a specific real vehicle would actually be before you buy — a 14ft truck at 1/10 scale works out to about 16.8 inches long.
How this works
An RC scale like 1/10 means the model is one-tenth the length (and roughly one-tenth each dimension) of whatever it's modeled after. So a real pickup truck that's 14 feet long comes out to about 16.8 inches as a 1/10-scale model — useful to know before you buy if you're trying to picture the actual size, or comparing two listings at different scales.
Going the other direction, if you already have a model's length and its listed scale, this tells you roughly how big the real vehicle it's based on would be — handy for sanity-checking a listing, since some sellers round or misstate scale.
